 Hair is termed as the vital ingredient in the appearance and make-up of a human being and plays the role of catalyst in the evolution of a human into an embodiment of beauty. It acts as a shield from the ravages of heat, cold and dust. But of late there seems another peculiar problem, which is causing embarrassment of sorts. For instance, a lady with hair grown on the upper lip or chin finds herself looking like a black sheep in a crowd.
It has also been observed that males too have this kind of problem and in many cases find themselves having unwanted hair, for instance on upper cheeks, back (bear back), earlobes/canal and chest. All of these have led to problems as skin irritation and infection
Earlier non-medical persons using non-medical methods dominated this particular problem, using methods of threading, waxing, tweezing, and application of herbal and non-herbal hair removing creams to get rid of unwanted hair. However this kind of approach is only a temporary and quite harmful one, which only makes the hair growth thicker and increase pain.
 Treatment Procedure
 Before the advent of laser technology, electrolysis technology was adopted. Termed as a primitive one, it did work wonders where performed by a good electrologist: the cure process was positive and gave permanent relief. Overall it was a painful process and time consuming one (takes one and a half years, in case of upper lip alone). It also produced negative vibrations for some leading to scarring. Following this, doctors the world over looked for an alternative method to make the process a better and less harmful one.

Among the lasers, "Light Sheer Diode" laser equipped with patented "Chill tip", having a pulse width of 100 ms has been found to be safe for darker skins. Research has shown that hair removal vide this laser has been found to be very successful even after many years (the hair were not growing back again). Its enormous success has led to it being termed as the only laser to be certified by the FDA of US Health Department. The healing process of this wonder laser is only five minutes: get rid of unwanted hair. The procedure takes up to 8 sessions with an interval of 4-5 weeks between each session.
